Kimberly Hardin, MBA, SPHR
Chief Human Resources Officer
Kimberly brings over 20 years of experience as a Human Resources and Operations Executive, with a distinguished record of driving organizational success through strategic planning, employee engagement, and workforce development. Before joining AABR, she led her own HR/Benefits consulting practice—KH Consultancy—supporting mission-driven organizations including Big Brothers Big
Sisters of EHUC, The Osborne Association, Independent Living Association, and EPIC Long Island. She has also held senior leadership roles at The Home Depot, overseeing HR operations across multiple districts. She began her career in the I/DD sector at Young Adult Institute, then progressed through senior leadership roles before transitioning to HR at Independent Living Association, where she
managed HR functions for 26 program locations.
In addition to her extensive leadership experience, Kimberly has shared her knowledge as an Adjunct HR Business Professor at St. John’s University, where she mentors future HR professionals and fosters inclusive learning environments. Kimberly holds an Executive MBA from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (with a Minor in Social Work) from St. John’s University and has completed Human Resources Studies at Cornell University’s Institute of Labor Relations. She is SPHR certified, serves as co-chair on the SHRM DE&I Council, and is active in several professional and community organizations, including NY Circle-Lets where she served two terms as Chapter President.
