What a joyful and heartwarming day it was at St. Pascal’s for AABR’s Family Fun Day! Individuals, their families, and residents from across our programs gathered together for a full afternoon of laughter, creativity, and community. The event truly reflected the spirit of AABR—connection, celebration, and the joy of spending time together.
The excitement kicked off with multiple rounds of bingo, where the competitive spirit came out in full force! The room was filled with cheers, laughter, and plenty of friendly banter as everyone waited for their lucky numbers to be called. Between games, guests enjoyed a variety of activities, including art projects and cookie decorating, where creativity and smiles were abundant.
One of the day’s highlights was the Mac & Cheese Contest. AABR staff members cooked up their best recipes, proudly showing off their culinary skills in a friendly competition. The executive team served as judges, tasting each delicious entry and taking on the tough job of selecting the winning dish. The aroma of freshly baked mac and cheese filled the air, and everyone joined in the fun, cheering on their favorite creations.
The silent disco brought even more energy to the day, with residents, families, and staff dancing and laughing together to their own beat. Between the dancing, games, food, and art, there was no shortage of things to do—or reasons to smile.
The day was a beautiful reminder of what community is all about: people coming together to connect, share joy, and support one another. Thank you to everyone—individuals, families, staff, and volunteers—who made AABR Family Fun Day such a memorable and meaningful celebration!
