AABR officially launched its 70th Anniversary celebration in style—with a lively, laughter-filled Sock Hop that brought everyone together for an unforgettable day!

Our individuals and staff members stepped back in time, dressing up in their best 1950s-inspired outfits. From poodle skirts and saddle shoes to leather jackets and slicked-back hair, the creativity and enthusiasm was in full swing. The room was transformed into a retro diner filled with music, color, and classic charm.
The dance floor stayed busy as everyone showed off their best moves to oldies hits that had the whole crowd twisting and jiving. Staff and individuals danced side by side, sharing smiles, laughter, and plenty of high-energy fun. It was heartwarming to see everyone fully engaged and celebrating together.
Of course, no sock hop would be complete without dinner and desserts! Guests enjoyed sliders, french fries, and root beer floats while mingling and taking in the festive atmosphere. The combination of great music, tasty food, and even better company made the event a true success.
The Sock Hop was more than just a dance—it was a joyful kickoff to AABR’s 70th Anniversary year. For seven decades, AABR has been dedicated to supporting individuals and building a strong, vibrant community. This celebration reflected that spirit perfectly: inclusive, spirited, and full of heart.
If this event is any indication, the 70th Anniversary year will be one to remember. Here’s to 70 years of impact—and many more celebrations to come!
